| Kaeme
joined the research taken place at ArcelorMittal Tubarão,
in a technical partnership with DNIT/IPR/17ª UNIT
presenting - in October 2008 - final results at the
“Final Seminary Accord of Cooperation Technique
for steel slag generated in the ArcelorMittal Tubarão
at road pavement”. The norms for the use of steel
slag in road pavements were also presented.
In this
research, Kaeme performs geotechnical and data analysis,
and development of reports. The research transport tests
took place by using the IPR Circuit Experimental Road.
Its base in different proportions of cured steel slag
and distinguished stone and clay, having the results
compared with one another.
With the conclusion
of the research at the ArcelorMittal Tubarão
and with the technical viability for steel slag in road
pavement, Kaeme now has a new challenge. The ArcelorMittal
Piracicaba settled, in July 2008, an agreement with
IPR/DNIT to develop similar searches in its industrial
park; thus Kaeme becomes responsible for attending the
innovation of this technical support.
